KitchenMaster

KitchenMaster is a mobile application that was built as part of curework for my Software Engineering Module. The idea for KitchenMaster came from the fact that there was no avaiable solution in the market which gave a food recoomendations for those who like to cook. People had to manually search for recipes and see what ingredients they have and what they dont.
This app takes the user's current inventory and recommends different recipes possible from the ingredients that the user currently has, so that they can make the best of out what they have, and enjoy some different and delicous meals.

The mobile application was built using Flutter and stores recipes and user data on Firebase. It was made available for both iOS and android.

It lets the user enter the ingredients that they have either through a custom image recognition model built by our team, or manually through the items page.
It also allows the user to pick the recipes they like and store it in the favourites page, so they can easily refer to those. We also provide a funcionality of setting a reminder for you to stock up on ingredients that you are running low on. You can even filter the recipes to see vegetarian, vegan, halal or many other options, if you want to.
